It has been nearly two months since the last Sosa sighting, here in Pinole, CA - home of Joey Sosa himself. Word has not yet spread on the where-abouts of this famous, if not infamous, writer who once sought refuge in the somber streets of Pinole. His new screenplay, "Pinole - The Movie" was rumored to have been completed when the mysterious disappearance of this Pinolian came to pass. One neighbor described it as such, "one day he was here, then he was gone". "One day he was here," indeed, Mr. Neighbor, indeed. But where has "he" gone to we ask?
There is a wives tale, a whisper in the wind, a bonfire bonanza of riot that Joey Sosa has traveled to a deserted island where he is working on his next blockbuster thriller. This reporter cannot comment on such topics, but stay tuned...the hunt for Joey Sosa continues.
